Nashville Superspeedway
Lebanon, TN
Opening in 2001, Nashville Superspeedway played host to the NASCAR Xfinity Series and NASCAR Truck Series starting in 2001. After hosting NASCAR races for the better part of a decade, Nashville was taken off the schedule for the Truck and Xfinity series, and the 1.3 mile track sat dormant until 2021. In 2021, it was announced that NASCAR would return to Nashville, this time with the Truck, Xfinity, and Cup series. This was the first time in the Cup series history they would race at Nashville.
This unique 1.33 mile oval features a concrete surface, with 14 degrees of banking in the turns. The track seats 25,000 people, and can be expanded to seat 40,000 spectators. Nashville Superspeedway has one of the more exciting trophies in NASCAR, a Gibson Les Paul guitar, to celebrate the rich music history of the surrounding area.
