Chicago Street Race

On July 4th weekend in 2023, NASCAR will take on the streets of Chicago. This all new event will be the first time NASCAR has gone on a street circuit. With help from the team at iRacing, NASCAR mapped out a street course in Chicago in 2021, and the course was featured in the eNASCAR iRacing Pro Invitational Series. The 12 turn, 2.2 mile circuit will start on Columbus Avenue, and then head down the famous Lakeshore drive. The course will wind through the streets before it hits the start/finish line in front of Grant Park. In 2023, Australian Supercars driver Shane Van Gisbergen shocked the NASCAR world with an impressive win in his first career NASCAR start.
