NASCAR TEAMS

TRACKHOUSE RACING

Trackhouse Racing Team made its debut in 2021. Owner Justin Marks joined forces with rapper Pitbull to start the team, initially fielding the 99 car for driver Daniel Suárez. In 2022, the team shocked the NASCAR world after purchasing former team Chip Ganassi Racing, and hiring driver Ross Chastain to drive the 1 car. The team would get their first win with Chastain in 2022 at Circuit of the Americas, and go on to win 2 more races in 2022 at Talladega and Sonoma. In 2022, Ross Chastain was one of the Championship Four drivers after his now famous “Hail Melon” move.
The team also fields a third entry in a few races, titled “Project 91”, encouraging drivers from other motorsports disciplines to try their hand in NASCAR. So far Project 91 has started two races at Watkins Glen and Circuit of The Americas, with Formula 1 champion Kimi Raikkonen behind the wheel of the car.
