ABOUT RICHARD PETTY MOTORSPORTS

Richard Petty Motorsports began racing in 2000 under a different name, Evernham Motorsports. Over the years the team has changed names a few time, ultimately being named after ‘The King’ starting in 2009. As an organization, they have earned 20 victories in the Cup Series. Other notable drivers that have raced for the team include Bill Elliott, Kasey Kahne, Marcos Ambrose, Jeremy Mayfield, Elliott Sadler, AJ Allmendinger, Aric Almirola, and Bubba Wallace.
